Named a Top Lawyer for Family Law in Seattle four times since 2003

Since opening his Bellevue practice in 1981, Christopher Shank watched the area grow from a rosy suburb into an affluent city. During those 30 years, Mr. Shank grew with his clientele and became well-known among his peers as one of the top Family Lawyers in the Northwest.

Mr. Shank was named the top lawyer for family law in 2010 by Seattle Met Magazine. He also was named the area's top family lawyer by Seattle Magazine in 2003, 2005 and 2007.  He has also been named a Super Lawyer for family law in Washington Law and Politics from 2003 to present.

Mr. Shank was a partner at the prestigious Seattle law firms Williams, Kastner and Gibbs, PLLC and Bogle & Gates, PLLC before starting his own firm in 2004.

He has a an AV rating of 5-out-of-5 from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating in the field. Mr. Shank is ranked on his ability and ethical standards by his legal peers and the mark indicates the highest level of professional excellence.

Publishing

Mr. Shank has been published several times. He wrote an article about legal fees for the Washington Family Law Deskbook Second Edition. His family law articles have been published in journals and continuing legal education.

Education

Mr. Shank received his J.D. from Seattle University in 1981 and his bachelor of arts from George Washington University n 1973.
